Hackintosh Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8 / Lion 10.7 Triple Screen Setup Tutorial (How to)
Here I show you how to use 3 monitors on Snow Leopard or Lion installed. I assume that the guidance works well on real Macs with appropriate graphics card. in the case with a one chip HD5xxx the brand ATI.


Step 1 (What is needed?)




Step 2 Prepare ATI kext files
First, we extract the Kext.zip. The following files are included:
One of them must be modified. ATI5000Controller.kext. We open this file with right click or ctrl-left-click and select "Show Package Contents". In the Contents folder, we find the Info.plist file that we open the text editor. Now we need the device ID of your graphics card. This information can be found under System - Graphics / Displays. (See screenshot - click for zoom)
Device ID: 0x68b8, vendor ID: 1002. This informations, write in as a new key called "IOPCIMatch" in the Info.plist.
And then save and close the file.
Step 3 ATI kext install files
DSo the downloaded kext files are also installed cleanly, we first delete the old ones.
Jump to the path System / Library / Extensions
Now open the kext wizard. Now the new kext files installed under / Select to install add kexts. Destination: System/Library/Extensions. Install.

Then tab to the "Maintenance" and restore Cache System / Library / Extensions. Don't restart.
Step 4 Chameleon Wizard
FIf you used the first time wizard Chameleon updated with your program and ensures that Chameleon version Chameleon Wizard stores the options in org.chameleon.Boot.plist. If not, open the apple.boot.plist and then stores simply adjust the following options in Chameleon Wizard:

Step 5 Connect the screens
Shut down your computer. Screens: connect to DVI, 1, dvi2 and the third screen on the display to the adapter port. Computer turn on again and enjoy.
Tip: If only one screen is, but your bars are on another screen will not call you can press ALT + F1 to monitor settings.
